Once the unit is defrosted the earlier cooling process starts and the thermostat starts cooling the fridge again. How to repair a fridge?

1. Discharging a capacitor:

To discharge the capacitor, get hold of it on the backside of the unit. In some cases, it will be just below the unit below the door of the unit. Connect the test probes to the end of the capacitor. This will help you to give up extra charges stored in the capacitor. After discharging the dispenser, it is possible to repair the unit.

2. Dissemble the refrigerator: 

All the components that control the unit are on the top of the fridge. On the contrary, the parts of the fridge below the unit. The parts you can find below the unit are a motor, compressor, condenser coil, etc. Take out the screws that bind the parts on the top of the fridge to enable repair of the unit. If you want to get access to the lower part of the unit, remove the screws in the service panel which you can find below the condenser coils. This is how you disassemble the parts of the refrigerator to proceed with the repair.

3. How to test a power chord?

If you can feel something burnt in the chord or the screws at the end of the screws, you can replace the chord as it may not be working.

4. How to check the working of the door? 

The door may be faulty due to rough handling of the unit door. You open the door of the unit many times a day. This may lead to a change in the climate inside the fridge. The temperature inside the fridge should be maintained constantly and any change in it may damage the whole unit. If you doubt that the unit is not working properly, and want to check whether the door gasket is not repaired, place a dollar bill between the gasket and the door. If you don’t see it falling off, there is some problem with the unit. If it falls off immediately when you open, the door is working properly.

5. How to repair the internal parts of a fridge: 

There are several simples to complicated components in the fridge. If you can see unusual frost in your unit, then the switch is not working properly and you may have to fix it to save the unit. If the evaporator fan is faulty, because the blades are distorted or bent, bring it back to shape using a player. If you can’t handle it, call a technician for an appliance repair.
